Even though I was born in 1995, I interviewed family members that was 10, 20, and 30 years older than me. The people that i had interviewed was my mom, my grandmom, and my poppop.
10 Years:
Name: Robin (Mom) Song: "A B C" - The Jackson 5 Year: 1970
Why she likes this song: She likes this song because when she was little she would always listen to them, especially Michael. She would always get up and dance and sing a long to the song. It was a uplifting and fun song to play.
20 Years:
Name: Marcel (Aunt Song: Sweet Thing- Aretha Franklin Year: 1959 Why she liked this song: My aunt would sing this song all the time. She would have it on repeat all the time. It is her and her husbands favorite song and everytime I see her, I would hear her play this song!
30 Years: Name: Robert (Poppop) Song: "I Am On A Battlefield For My Lord" Year: 1950's Why he liked this song: This is one of his favorite songs that he sings all the time. He is the Sr. pastor of a church. Every Sunday, he would make an effort to sing that song. Also, when the family is together, he would always sing that song and the family would join in.
